Storm ID is delighted to be sponsoring and attending GovCamp Cymru 2026, taking place in Cardiff on Friday, 6 November.

Now marking 12 years since its beginnings, GovCamp Cymru brings together people from across Wales who share a passion for improving public services. As an unconference, the event takes a refreshingly different approach, with participants shaping the agenda, sharing experiences and exploring ideas through open, collaborative conversations.

It's exactly the kind of event we enjoy supporting.

Connections

Building connections across the public sector

Having recently sponsored GovCamp Scotland in Edinburgh, we're looking forward to continuing the conversation in Wales.

What makes GovCamp events particularly valuable is the diversity of people they bring together. From public servants and digital specialists to policymakers, designers and technologists, these events create space for honest discussions about shared challenges, practical solutions and new opportunities for collaboration.

For Storm ID, supporting GovCamp Cymru feels like a natural extension of our commitment to helping public services across the UK improve how they work and deliver better outcomes for citizens.

Experience

Bringing our experience to Wales

For 25 years, Storm ID has worked with public sector organisations across Scotland and the wider UK, helping them design and deliver better digital services, unlock the value of data and adopt emerging technologies such as AI responsibly and effectively.

We're particularly enthusiastic about the opportunities for digital transformation in Wales, where we've already worked with several public sector organisations.

One recent example is our partnership with the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru, through which we designed and delivered the Welsh Elections Information Platform.

Developed in partnership with Welsh language specialists Ateb, the fully bilingual platform helps voters across Wales access clear, trusted and accessible election information. Launched ahead of the May 2026 Senedd election, the project has recently been shortlisted for Best Use of Digital from the Public Sector at the Digital Impact Awards 2026.

It's a great example of what can be achieved through close collaboration, user-centred design and technology focused on real public needs.

We’re really looking forward to attending GovCamp Cymru. Having supported GovCamp Scotland, we know just how valuable these events can be in bringing people together, sharing experiences and sparking new ideas. We’ve enjoyed working with public sector organisations in Wales and are keen to build on those relationships, learn more about the challenges and opportunities they face, and explore how our experience in digital, data and AI across the UK can help make a difference.

Let's meet

See you in Cardiff

We're looking forward to meeting people from across Wales' public sector, hearing about the challenges and opportunities they're exploring, and sharing some of our own experiences from working across the UK.

As we've seen through our involvement with GovCamp Scotland, some of the most valuable conversations happen when people come together without a predetermined agenda, ready to listen, challenge ideas and learn from one another.

We're proud to support GovCamp Cymru and look forward to being part of the conversations on 6 November.
