Citizen Adoption of Digital Health in Scotland

This white paper is designed to help those working in health policy and healthcare delivery to understand the prevailing trends in the adoption of digital health tools, attitudes towards data privacy and the implications for design of new patient facing services and care pathways.

The survey intended to get to the bottom of the attitudes, opinions and adoption of technology in order to identify how Scotland's health services will need to adapt to solve emerging problems.

We wanted to find out the responses to questions like:

  • What is the level of adoption of digital health tools across age groups?
  • What is the prevailing attitude of different consumer age groups in Scotland to data privacy of health data?
  • With whom are consumers willing to share their health data and how do these attitudes change based on age?

Access to the white paper is free. Simply complete the form and download a PDF copy of the results.
