Helping Glasgow's people and visitors get the most from the city.
We have been in partnership with Glasgow Life since 2009. The charitable organisation aims to positively impact individuals and their communities across the city of Glasgow. They deliver cultural, sporting and learning activities to the people of Glasgow and it's visitors.
We've guided them through a complete digital transformation programme. Redeveloping their main web portal, ticketing platform and dedicated venue and event sites. The digital estate uses Umbraco to provide a seamless user experience (both internally and externally) across these sites.
The Glasgow Life digital estate covers a huge variety of venues and events, and each have provided their own challenges.
Glasgow Club operate and manage 30 sport and fitness centres in Glasgow. As part of their website design we utilised APIs from their leisure software to surface venue information and class timetables. Whilst the Glasgow Life Tickets website offers a catalogue of all acts and events that can be browsed and filtered by genre, venue, age range and cost.
We've helped produce brand refreshes each year for events such as Celtic Connections and Glasgow Mela.
We've developed an events management system that can be used to feature different events across venues and festivals and can support load on the service at peak launch periods. The system can be used to identify upcoming events being hosted at venues like Kelvin Hall, and pull those through to the venue's website automatically.
We designed, developed and launched websites for international arts venue Tramway and the refurbished, award-winning Burrell Collection, using one Umbraco installation for both sites. Doing so provided cost efficiencies and smart reuse of code.
As part of our ongoing partnership we have assisted in the management of a broad array of venues and events. These have include major sporting tournaments, bustling music festivals, 32 local libraries, 9 art galleries and 9 award-winning museums.
