Storm ID announces partnership with Strathclyde Business School to develop future digital and data talent
Storm ID, the Edinburgh based digital, data and AI consultancy, has entered into a new strategic partnership with the University of Strathclyde Business School to help grow Scotland’s next generation of digital, data and AI professionals.

The first initiative in the partnership will see Storm ID work with students from the MSc Business Analysis and Consulting programme on a live consultancy brief. Students will tackle a real-world artificial intelligence challenge, applying their academic knowledge to industry needs while gaining hands-on experience with an established digital consultancy.
This collaboration builds on Storm ID’s continued investment in emerging talent through its graduate programmes and early career pathways. Together, these initiatives reflect the company’s commitment to growing Scotland’s digital capability and helping graduates build long-term careers in the sector.
We’re excited to be working with Strathclyde Business School on this initiative. Collaborations like this give students meaningful opportunities to apply their skills in practice while contributing to Scotland’s growing digital, data and AI economy.
The partnership also marks the beginning of a wider programme of academic engagement. Storm ID is working with universities and colleges to give students exposure to real-world consultancy projects and represents and create new routes into the digital economy.
This partnership offers our MSc students a valuable opportunity to engage with a leading consultancy working at the forefront of digital and data innovation. Applying their learning to a real industry challenge will deepen their skills and expand their professional experience.
