The role

Storm ID is an award winning Edinburgh-based digital transformation consultancy that helps organisations accelerate their use of digital, data and AI. We believe in tailored solutions, assembling expert teams to address each client's unique needs. Our services span strategy, design, technology and data & AI, ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery of platforms, products and services with real-world impact.  What sets us apart is our commitment to long-lasting and sustainable, data-driven, user-centred change. We enjoy close collaboration between our teams, ensuring projects move smoothly from discovery to design to delivery. We recognise the crucial link between digital and data, creating intelligent services that leverage both.  We work with a range of clients across the Scottish and UK public and private sectors.

This is an entry level role - you don’t need to have done this before. We’re looking for someone curious, commercially aware and ready to learn. You’ll be supporting a portfolio of client accounts while building real skills in relationship management, commercial thinking and digital delivery.

AI is changing how we work. From day one you’ll be expected to use AI tools to augment your work - whether that’s drafting communications, preparing reports or researching client opportunities

About you

We know that many professionals will come from a variety of backgrounds, and we encourage and value people who bring unique perspectives and knowledge to our team.

You might be a recent graduate, a career changer, or someone earlier in their career looking for a step up. What matters most:

  • Naturally inquisitive – a people person, excited by building relationships and gaining insight into different industries
  • Confident communicator - comfortable talking to clients and colleagues at all levels; confident drafting client-facing documents to a high standard
  • Commercially aware - you understand the link between good client relationships and profit, and like the idea of supporting clients with their budgets
  • Organised and detail-oriented - you can manage multiple tasks without things slipping
  • Curious about digital innovation and technology - you follow the space and want to understand what’s changing
  • Comfortable with AI tools - or genuinely keen to get there quickly
  • Collaborative - you share credit, ask for help when you need it and support the people around you

One more thing – research indicates that marginalised groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the qualifications. We also know that many professionals come from various backgrounds. We value people who bring unique perspectives and new knowledge to our team. If you believe you're qualified, but don't "tick all the boxes", please submit an application.

What you'll do

Your day-to-day will span client relationships, commercial management and delivery support:

  •  Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients, acting as their first point of contact at Storm
  • Scope small projects, prepare quotes and help write statements of work in plain English

  • Work alongside project managers to support successful delivery
  • Research and identify opportunities for upselling to clients based on market trends and innovation
  • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and escalate promising leads
  • Develop your knowledge of Storm’s full range of digital services

Benefits
